Overview The Division of Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation at Children’s Mercy Kansas City is recruiting a full‑time board‑certified/eligible Pediatric Hematology/Oncology physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The role will provide primarily inpatient Hem/Onc Hospitalist care for nights and weekends, and participate in clinical, research, and educational efforts with an interest in mentoring residents and fellows. Responsibilities Provide inpatient Hem/Onc hospitalist care on nights and weekends. Collaborate with residents, fellows, and advanced practice professionals on the inpatient unit and outpatient clinic. Engage in clinical care, research, quality improvement, and teaching activities. Mentor residents and/or Hem/Onc fellows. Participate in the division’s quality improvement council and inter‑specialty collaboration. Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Experience at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with strong clinical skills. Interest in mentoring and teaching residents/fellows. Academic appointment with the University of Missouri‑Kansas City School of Medicine. Immunization Requirements Seasonal influenza vaccination is a condition of employment for all employees.
