Overview The Division of Rheumatology at Children’s Mercy Kansas City – the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time Pediatric Rheumatologist to expand the academic and clinical profile of our program. Clinical responsibilities include general rheumatology care and support of the outpatient Amplified Pain Syndrome service. The Rehabilitation for Amplified Pain Syndromes (RAPS) Program is an internationally recognized, multidisciplinary program delivering care to children nationwide. Candidates should spend significant time with patients, communicate effectively, and embrace patient‑ and family‑centered care. Our rheumatologists specializing in amplified pain syndromes will provide additional training. Qualifications Ideal candidates share our vision of enhancing quality clinical care and service delivery within a collaborative, scholarly environment. They are committed to academic endeavors—including trainee education, quality improvement, and/or clinical and translational research—and must be fellowship‑trained, board‑eligible, or board‑certified in Pediatric Rheumatology.
