Life Skills Coaches that are community-based assist individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in accessing the community. The day is spent supporting an individual in all the areas of daily living as needed or directed by their plans. You have the opportunity to enrich and support another individual's life simply by being available and supportive. You will use your own vehicle to take individuals to a variety of activities throughout the week and work alongside them, teaching important life skills.This position is working with an individual who absolutely loves all things Disney! With such a passion to the subjects that she loves she will never keep you guessing with what she wants to do! She loves all things related to hair care, nail care, and all things salon related. With a love for food, tea, coffee, and so much more the adventures are endless. While in the community assistance will be needed as this individual is prone to having seizures. With thorough training you will be prepared for just about any situation that will arise!We have an opportunity available for our Life Skills Coaches that are community based. A typical day starts at 9am and ends at 3pm and runs Monday-Friday.Opening(s):9 am - 3pm Monday - Friday supporting an individual prone to having seizure activity.
