Family Medicine Physician – Clinical Faculty The University of Utah Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking a board‑certified family medicine physician to serve as Clinical Faculty in our Innovative Population Health Clinic. The role combines clinical care, teaching and scholarship within the Family Medicine Residency Program and the Division of Family and Community Medicine, and focuses on providing integrated, patient‑centered care for a Medicaid population in an intensive outpatient setting. Location: University of Utah Population Health Center Fair Park, north Salt Lake. Clinical duties include ambulatory office visits, telehealth and telephone visits, case‑management support, care coordination, management of complex mental health and substance use disorders, interdisciplinary meetings, care planning, and medication management. The physician will also support trauma‑informed care and substance use disorder care. Qualifications Board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine Unrestricted Utah state medical license Experience in clinical medicine, teaching, and scholarship preferred Responsibilities 0.90‑0.95 FTE Clinical care at the Intensive Outpatient Clinic 0.05‑0.10 FTE Scholarship: scholarly projects, research and administration 1.0 FTE total Special Instructions for Candidates Applicants must provide a minimum of three professional references, each including the reference’s full name, degree/credentials, and current contact information (email address).
