Job Summary Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center. Department of Neurosurgery seeks a full‑time dedicated Neuropsychologist to join the multidisciplinary Neurosurgery team in Hershey, PA. The role involves specialized neuropsychological assessment and consultation for adult and geriatric patients undergoing neurosurgical evaluation and treatment, contributing to surgical candidacy evaluations, post‑operative care planning and follow‑up, and participating in multidisciplinary case conferences. Position Highlights Provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for patients with brain tumors, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, movement disorders, and other neurosurgical conditions. Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers to inform surgical planning and post‑operative care and provide cognitive and emotional support for patients and families. Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, document findings and recommendations promptly in electronic medical records, engage in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to clinical research. Mentor and teach medical students, neurosurgery residents and fellows, psychology interns in the APA and APPIC approved program, and neuropsychology fellows. Requirements Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology. Completion of an APA‑accredited Clinical Psychology internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology. License or license‑eligible as a clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania. Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP‑CN preferred). A record of academic productivity and clinical excellence.
