CTACS is an independent practice group of seasoned surgeons that staffs MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, a designated Level II trauma center in the South Puget Sound region. CTACS is a surgeon-led group, formed to meet the increasing need for trauma and complex emergency general surgery in a large, rapidly growing region of Washington. We cover the full spectrum of Acute Care Surgery: Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery. Our surgeons are board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Our team has a high-volume rib fixation program, active robotics program for both elective and urgent cases, and the practice is actively growing with support of key stakeholders. Patient complexity and acuity is high as Tacoma General Hospital is the region’s busiest tertiary referral center.
