Director of Out-Patient Services Reports To: Director of Clinical Programming Location: Regional Multiple Outpatient Facilities Position Summary The Director of Out-patient Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, clinical programming, and administrative functions of multiple outpatient behavioral health programs across a defined region. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, promotes clinical excellence, and supports staff development, while aligning program delivery with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Key Responsibilities Adhere to TPC Wellness mission statement and values. Grow out-patient program by community engagement, alignment with director of community outreach team, providing exceptional customer service. Direct team in timely service goals and treatment team needs. Fiscal responsibility includes budget alignment, maintain case load per provider ratio. Provide strategic leadership and supervision for outpatient programs across assigned regional sites. Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices and ensure clinical services meet quality standards. Monitor key performance indicators including client engagement, treatment outcomes, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate and implement policies, procedures, and standardized workflows for consistent operations across sites. Hire, supervise clinical staff to ensure high levels of performance and retention. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to enhance team dynamics and professional development. Ensure regular training, credentialing, and licensure compliance for all team members. Ensure programs operate in full compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements (e.g., CARF, Medicaid, HIPAA). Collaborate with compliance, quality assurance, and clinical teams to conduct audits, corrective actions, and process improvements. Prepare and manage documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with finance and executive leadership. Monitor expenditures, staffing ratios, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and sustainability. Represent the organization in community coalitions, provider networks, and stakeholder meetings. Promote collaborative relationships with referral sources, local agencies, and other behavioral health providers. Minimum Qualifications 5-7 years experience in behavioral health or mental health settings preferred. Excellent Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). 5-7 years experience with electronic health record systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable interacting with individuals experiencing behavioral health and substance use challenges from all age demographics Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred. Education Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or business related field (required). Independent licensure (e.g., LISW, LPCC) preferred Obtain and maintain licensure per board requirements.
