Director of Nursing / Resident Care Director The Resident Care Director will play a critical role within our community, focusing on ensuring high-quality nursing care that aligns with our "Love Well, Love Life" philosophy. This position involves a blend of leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic planning to meet the health and wellness needs of our residents. It is a key pillar in the overall success of our community. The role is full‑time and requires occasional weekends and on‑call availability. Responsibilities Responsible for the planning and execution of all resident assessments. Oversee care plan implementation and monitor effectiveness. Meet regularly with residents and family to evaluate service needs and changes. Monitors and maintains compliance with all state regulations, including all nursing associates compliance. Implements and monitors training programs and in‑services for all associates in accordance with company and state assisted living regulations. Responsible for the oversight of the S.A.M.M. and LMA program for residents. Provides emotional and physical comfort and safety for residents. Qualifications Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with State‑required training. Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing. Effective communication with residents, families, staff, community officials, and the public. Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly. Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance. Physical stamina and ability to assist residents as needed and in emergencies.
