Fair Oaks Health and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This key role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents, and maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations. As the ADON, you will play an essential role in leading and supporting the nursing team, assisting with staff development, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Ensure residents’ nursing and medical needs are consistently met by overseeing daily clinical operations and supporting the nursing team in delivering safe, high‑quality, and compassionate care. Coordinate and manage the Infection Control Program, including monitoring infection trends, implementing prevention measures, conducting staff education, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Provide ongoing staff education and training, developing and delivering in‑services to enhance clinical skills, ensure compliance with facility policies, and promote best practices in resident care. Assist with regulatory compliance and quality assurance, ensuring all nursing practices align with state, federal, and facility guidelines while fostering accountability and teamwork among staff. Coordinate and direct the planning and delivery of nursing services, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between departments to achieve the highest standards of resident outcomes. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice, applying sound clinical judgment and evidence‑based care in all aspects of nursing leadership. Oversee documentation and medical record management, ensuring all resident assessments, treatments, and care plans are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulations. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new nursing staff, ensuring new team members receive thorough orientation and are supported for success. Manage and monitor daily staffing levels, making adjustments as needed to ensure appropriate coverage, balance workloads, and maintain quality resident care. Foster a positive and flexible work environment, maintaining adaptability in your schedule to meet the evolving needs of residents, staff, and the facility. Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to identify areas for improvement, support team development, and promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and professional growth. Qualifications Current RN license in State. Minimum 2 years of experience in Long‑Term Care. 2 years of management experience preferred. 1 year of staff education experience preferred.
