Position Summary Corewell Health Family Medicine (SJ) is hiring a physician for its new clinic. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Compensation includes a two‑year salary guarantee, a generous starting bonus, and the opportunity for a productivity‑based bonus. Appointments are 15 or 30 minutes and include acute visits, follow‑ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, pap smears, pelvic exams, and typical primary care procedures (I&D, joint injections). The clinic team consists of 2 physicians and 3 full‑time APPs. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm with no weekend shifts. Fluency dictation and the Abridge AI platform are available to support clinical conversations. Corewell Health utilizes EPIC as the EHR system. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients and significant others. Provide quality medical services in a cost‑effective manner and maintain case‑load coverage. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to medical practice and patient care quality. Oversee Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other delegated providers. Evaluate educational needs of patients, significant others, and staff; develop and implement appropriate teaching strategies. Document care in compliance with regulatory standards. Communicate with other health‑care team members to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Act as a patient/family advocate. Participate in ongoing process improvement activities, including development and application of clinical pathways. Collaborate with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals. Qualifications Doctorate (MD) in Medicine – State of Michigan, required upon hire. Doctorate (DO) in Osteopathic Medicine – State of Michigan, required upon hire. Controlled Substance Licensure – State of Michigan, required upon hire. CRT/DEA Registration – State of Michigan, required upon hire.
