Benefis Health System, is an academic community hospital in Great Falls Montana, seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician to join our residency program as core faculty with the primary responsibility to supervise residents in our Benefis Internal Medicine residency clinic. Position details Teach and precept internal medicine residents (40 total in program) in their continuity clinic, creating an effective learning environment with open communication. Work with the PD and APDs on enhancing curriculum, mentoring, didactic presentations, in addition to participation in scholarly activities and promotion of resident wellness. Participate on IM residency program committees (program evaluation and/or clinical competency committees) Participate in and guide residents on ambulatory quality improvement projects Teach ambulatory based procedures (joint injection, I&D, WWE, biopsy) Assist with the residency applicant recruitment process including reviewing applications and conducting interviews. Full time, or reduced FTE based on preferences Additional information Qualified Internal Medicine candidates should have recent outpatient experience with a strong desire to provide high quality, evidence-based patient care to the future generation of Internal Medicine physicians. Teaching experience is strongly preferred but not required. This residency program is under the Opti-West Graduate Medical Education Consortium which is affiliated with the Touro University Medical Schools.
